Concerning

Grey Grimm is a painter, illustrator, and educator whose work moves between gesture and precision across oil, charcoal, watercolor, and graphite.

Based in Boulder, Colorado, she weaves fine art with the everyday; from large-scale murals and chalkboard design to quiet works on paper and hand-drawn products.

Grey holds a dual degree in Art Practices and Art History from the University of Colorado and is a devoted part of Boulder’s creative community. Teaching semester-long courses at Tinker Art Studio in Boulder and gathering support for a personal project called The Tabletop, a meeting place for creative gatherings within her home.

In 2023, Grey was honored as an Artist in Residence at Château Orquevaux in the Champagne-Ardenne region of France.

In 2026 Grey finds herself navigating art markets, while finding time for her soul work which elaborates on her exploration of narrative and intersecting timelines between the past and present. Diving into her memories, nostalgia and pain; finding her voice in her palette.
